Healthscope Sydney - Casual Staffing Team - Registered Nurses

Are you a Registered Nurse looking for an opportunity to have flexible shifts across a large and diverse health service with a broad range of specialties to suit your lifestyle and career aspirations?

The Sydney Casual Team provides nurses with the ability to work across a number of different Healthscope Hospitals throughout Sydney and enjoy a variety of clinical experiences within our wide and diverse Healthscope Team.

We are seeking Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care. We are seeking individuals who are organised, proactive, resourceful and are willing to excel within the clinical environment.

As part of the Casual Staffing Team there are opportunities for clinical growth and development within the organisation. Opportunities to participate in education programs, experience different specialties and work towards permanent positions if desired are available to the team.

We are seeking individuals with:

· Current AHPRA Registration

· Minimum of 1 years' acute clinical experience post registration

Essential criteria:

· Working rights within Australia

· Current police check (within 3 months) and current working with children's check

· Commitment to Quality Patient Care

· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Works well independently and within a team

· Basic computer skills

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

· Delivery of evidence based nursing care

· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

· Ensure patient and staff safety

· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery from admission through to discharge

Applicants will be required to provide a current (12 months or less) National Police check and a NSW Working with Children's Check, prior to appointment and persons in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases prior to commencement.
