The Tweed Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse who will coordinate and deliver high quality person centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). The Registered Nurse will work in keeping with the expectations set by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) regarding patient care, radiation safety and quality with the intention of assisting the radiographer and/or radiologist achieve optimal imaging at minimal radiation exposure. The Registered Nurse will play a pivotal role in ensuring pre and post procedure patient care is managed at standards expected by RANZCR.
If you have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Ability to use problem solving skills and a team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care along with evidence based practice and quality improvement
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
- Previous experience in Medical Imaging nursing (interventional procedural experience and cannulation accreditation) would be highly regarded or willingness to obtain
