Salary: RN/M1 $68,481 - $93,439 p.a. (Pro-rata)
Temporary Part-Time position working 19 hours per week up to 7/6/2024
Working within the Out of Hospital Services - Community Nursing, you will provide high quality nursing care in community based settings within the Gawler, Tanunda and Barossa region. As part of the multidisciplinary community team, you will operate in a primary health care setting and assess clients, select and implement different therapeutic interventions and support programs, and evaluate client progress. You will monitor client care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis, and oversee the provision of nursing care within the community nursing team. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. A current driver’s license is essential, along with demonstrated competence in community nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards. You will also need to have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a community healthcare setting.
