About the Position
Our "Symes Thorpe" Residential Aged Care Facility located in Toowoomba are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team. Predominantly this position is for Night duty, although some flexibility is required to work across other shifts. At Anglicare SQ, we value your experience and your passion for nursing, you will be part of a great team that are dedicated to providing the highest quality service to our wonderful residents.
About You
Current AHPRA Registration (Nursing)
Strong clinical background and current knowledge of Aged Care practices
Skills in palliative care, wound care, medication management and post-acute care
Proficient documentation skills
Working knowledge of ACFI and other funding processes
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and an ability to work effectively within a team environment
Sound computer knowledge with experience in clinical systems (AutumnCare would be beneficial)
Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly, approachable attitude
Client-centred care to residents and their families which respects and protects their rights, privacy & wellbeing
National Police Clearance
Full Covid Vaccination evidence
