Registered Nurse - Wound Consultant

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN), with a passion for wound care? Are you seeking a role that gives you autonomy?
Our client provides specialist wound advice for healthcare organisations across Australia.
Due to growth of the company, they are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join their team in Sydney.

The role:

• This is a 9am-5pm role with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week and the opportunity for 5 days if preferred by the successful applicant.
• Your week may vary from time spent onsite with clients and the occasional work from home conducting telehealth calls and completing documentation.
• You will conduct assessments and provide support and education to patients their families and health professionals. You must have the ability to work in collaboration with other health professionals to obtain the best outcome.
• This is an autonomous role and therefore a high level experience working with wounds or some post graduate studies relating to wound care will be essential.
• You will be supported by a national team and have access to inhouse education.

While this role is primarily within the Sydney region the occasional overnight may be required to assist a regional site.

To be considered for this role you will need to

• Hold current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance and First Aid Certificate
• Own a reliable car and have a current Australian drivers license.
• Demonstrate a high level of experience and knowledge in wound assessment, management and healing
• Ideally hold a post graduate qualification relevant to wounds
• Demonstrate your ability to work both autonomously but collaboratively with other health professionals
• Have access to an area for work from home set up
