This represents a rare opportunity with a well established boutique accounting firm based in central Gold Coast. This firm has a stable client base of high quality SME's and related High Net Worth individuals.

The firm has a positive and close knit culture.

POSITION

Due to internal restructuring and the need for succession planning, the position of Principal Accountant has been created.

• Review the work completed by staff
• Lodge tax returns (Tax agent's license is a non negotiable)
• Training and mentoring staff
• High level advisory and complex compliance work
• Take an active role in the development of the firm's brand

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• CA/CPA/IPA
• Registered Tax Agent's Licence/Public Practice Certificate
• 10+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
• Previous experience reviewing work completed by staff
• Previous experience training and mentoring staff
• Strong technical tax knowledge
• Exceptional communication and presentation
• Stable employment history
