Job description
Help create the next generation of change makers and build engagement with schools. You will be accountable for building and maintaining relationships with schools nationally to engage in fundraising, education, and advocacy campaigns. You will work with schools to equip our next leaders to be socially aware and advocate for the world’s most vulnerable.
Your areas of responsibility:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining WVA’s 40HR Famine school strategy for FY23 and beyond
Monitoring financial fundraising targets for schools and campaign as a whole and providing real time insights
Forming partnerships with schools, students, teachers, and principals that excite and empower them to be Change Makers for WVA
Creating opportunities for students to gain awareness and build skills that enable them to make a difference in their local community and future life
Responsible for pursuing and securing new partnerships and participation of 40HR Famine through lead generation
Responsible for KPI’s attached to 40HR Famine fundraising campaign and individual schools and partnerships
Responsible for reoccurring revenue and one-off revenue targets
Effectively communicate school activities and policies when required to internal and external audiences
Providing constructive insights to assist in implementation of campaigns and events within the school sector
Who we’re looking for
As the successful applicant, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and experience in business development and relationship management.
You will have:
Experience in implementing and developing strategic vision to build on portfolio
Experience working in the not for profit or education sector
Proven success in achieving KPI’s and financial targets
Experience in developing pipelines and fundraising strategies
Experience in relational or partnership roles
Good time management and collaboration skills
Strategic planning and financial management capability
The ability to pivot messaging appropriate to audience
Knowledge of the Education system advantageous
Relationship and business development experience
Project management experience advantageous
