Our client, a distinguished leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remuneration and Benefits Consultant to join their team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the Remuneration and Benefits Consultant will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing comprehensive compensation and Benefits strategies to support the organization's objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of remuneration practices, excellent analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of existing compensation structures and Benefits programs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and implement innovative remuneration strategies tailored to attract, retain, and motivate top talent, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive employee benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and HR colleagues on Remuneration and Benefits-related matters, including market trends, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Legal departments to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies governing compensation and Benefits.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and benchmarking analysis to make informed recommendations for adjustments to compensation structures and Benefits programs, driving continuous improvement and competitiveness.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on compensation and Benefits matters, delivering training sessions and workshops to HR staff and line managers as needed.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as benefits providers and compensation consultants, ensuring effective service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the annual salary review process, including merit increase and bonus allocation, conducting comprehensive performance and compensation reviews in partnership with HR Business Partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging practices, and legislative changes impacting Remuneration and Benefits, proactively recommending adjustments to policies and practices to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in compensation and Benefits management, preferably within the healthcare or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing Remuneration and Benefits strategies, including experience with job evaluation methodologies, salary benchmarking, and incentive plan design.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing compensation and Benefits, with a commitment to ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
