About the Client

Our client is a Victorian state government agency in the civil infrastructure that manage and protects major water, sewerage and drainage networks across Greater Melbourne

The purpose of this role is to:

The Reporting & Delivery Administration Lead will be accountable for the development and implementation of performance reporting and administration support across Waterways and Catchment Operations and Infrastructure Operations, interfacing and working with a number of key teams across Service Delivery, IT, Finance and Procurement. They will report to the Team leader Business Performance and Contracts they will be responsible for service delivery, support delivery functions, processing claims, energy claims

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables

  • Working closer with delivery team leaders
  • Ideally know risk and contract management
  • Driving compliance
  • Working closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure practices comply with policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements
  • Technical Data analysts - working out how we want to use our systems & what's the team plan
  • Working with other delivery teams to find out what performance looks like
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Demonstrated capability for analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and experience
To be successful in this role:
  • Tertiary qualification in business, finance, engineering or management related area and/or experience relating to data analytics or procurement related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated capability for analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and experience Sound understanding of risk management frameworks and accounting practices
  • Demonstrated ability in the development and presentation of complex analytical reporting and financial control
  • Understanding of data analytics techniques, frameworks and technologies
  • Sound interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people within Melbourne Water
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an open and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously
