The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. With 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants, Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, IRD`s and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct, it is the first accommodation and meeting and event space to be developed in this precinct.
Brisbane Airport Hotels Group is currently seeking a Reservations Manager reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for all accommodation bookings across the hotels. You will work closely with our Sales & Marketing and Front Office teams, implementing strategic plans and processes.
Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Ensure smooth management of all accommodation bookings
- Monitor hotel inventory, availability, competitor, trend, demand, and opportunity analysis
- Data collection, weekly, monthly reporting, and preparation of forecasts etc.
- Develop and implement strategies that will achieve above market performance
- Provide courteous, efficient and professional service to exceed guest expectations
- Manage group reservation blocks and the contracting process
- Manage reservation sales to ensure business practices are consistent with management goals
- Manage allotments and third party websites in accordance with yield strategies
- Manage the payment process for all reservations, ensuring accuracy
- Motivate and mentor the front office team in all things reservations
- Front Office/Reservations background & minimum 12 months Reservations Management experience
- Extensive knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Excel essential
- Proven yield management skills and experience with third party websites and third party website managers
- Experience in handling a high volume of reservations with superb accuracy
- Proven success in customer experience
- Experience in managing business relationships with travel agents, corporate and leisure clients
- Extremely professional telephone & email etiquette
