Catholic Healthcare is a leading not-for-profit provider of residential aged care, home and community services and retirement living across NSW and SE QLD. Located in the regional centre of Bathurst, Macquarie Care Centre is our 55-bed home, and we are seeking a Residential Manager to manage this great home.
The role is to manage the residential aged care home, ensuring a high standard of services are provided to residents; that we engage and retain a talented team of professionals; and that the home is managed in a fiscally responsible way.
The key focus areas are Operational Management, Team Leadership and Safety and Compliance. This encompasses providing leadership and coaching to the clinical, personal care, lifestyle, pastoral care and catering teams. Ensuring all team members are working in a safe manner, closely following policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
What you will need to be considered for this role:
Completion of tertiary qualifications in nursing, healthcare or similar (Bachelor of Nursing)
Current RN registration with AHPRA
Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
Proven competency in operational planning, strategic and innovative thinking, resource management, rostering and budget management
A truly collaborative, compassionate approach to work, and an ability to inspire a team
An exceptional communicator who is collaborative and values relationships
