Restaurant Managers oversee and manage a store like it's their own small business, training, leading and managing all aspects of the store.

No evening shifts, 4:30pm daily finish

Management & Leadership
Ensure all team members have completed the required training
Maintain team member levels by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring all team members
Thoroughly document all performance issues in line with established work practices
Ensure succession and development plans are current and in place
Ensure all probation and performance reviews are conducted on time
Regularly communicate performance expectations with your team
Ensure all team members exhibit correct behaviour, appearance, and attitude in line with Hectors Deli values
Uphold all policies and procedures
Continually motivate and develop your team to improve professionally
Thoroughly document all performance issues in line with established work practices
Maintain good employee relations with all team members
Ensure accurate documentation of food production and food safety checklists
Ensure a safe, and healthy environment by following and enforcing sanitation standards
Ensure company assets are always secure and cared for
Complete all regular maintenance checks as per the company standard
Operations
Ensure ongoing compliance with HACCP, WHS, LGA and Government legislation
Produce rosters in line with established budget and forecasts
Address and solve challenges and problems quickly and effectively
Liaise with customers, team members, suppliers, landlords, authorities, and sales representatives
Ensure prompt and professional replies to all relevant emails, calls and texts
Monitor financial objectives with a focus on Sales, COL, and COGS
Ensure KPIs are regularly monitored and tracking to budget
Manage stock levels and order supplies in line with ordering/prep guidelines
Complete stocktakes and accurately identify variances
Accurately track wastage and shrinkage
Continually make improvements to the running of the business and development of the restaurant
Complete all regular maintenance checks as per the company standard
Food Service
Drive kitchen performance by managing fast and efficient food prep and customer orders
Deliver friendly, responsive service in line with Hectors Deli values
Foster open communication and unity across the team to ensure ease of service
Ensure cleanliness of deli to enhance customer experience
Respond personally to guest feedback, questions, and complaints; escalate where needed
Prepare and present food beautifully and consistently, reflecting Hectors Deli standards
Ensure high quality of all ingredients and dishes
Ensure staff follow correct kitchen procedures to deliver great product and minimize food wastage
Demonstrate sound product knowledge and promote daily sales
Ensure each cup of coffee is made in accordance with the recipe/ratios required to be of Hector’s Deli standards
Educate and train coffee team members in all aspects of the coffee menu
