We are based in Brisbane and are currently accepting applications for a Restaurant Manager at Ciao Papi. With a proactive approach and known floor presence, you will be a strong supporter for our team members and build strong relationships with our guests.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
- Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything that you do
- Monitoring of wages, comps and wastages
- Purchase and price goods in line with budgets
- Work closely with the Cellar to monitor product and stock levels, ensure PAR levels are met and record financial transactions
- Team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting
- Oversee the selection, training and development of team members to ensure timely recruitment, career growth, compliance and high morale
- Ensuring venue presentation is at a high standard at all times, and WHS requirements are complied with
- Plan menus in consultation with the Head Chef
- Liaising with other departments on a regular basis
- Plan and organise special functions in consultation with the Events team
- Assist in taking reservations, greeting guests and taking orders where needed
- A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
- Assisting the guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
- Contribute to a culture of care and safety, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the business
What we’re looking for:
- 3 years’ experience in working in a high-volume, fast paced restaurant
- Experience in managing and coaching teams
- Ability to own situations and make decisions as necessary
- RSA essential, RMLV desired
- Intermediate computer skills
- Qualification in Hospitality desired
Annual base remuneration $70,000 - 75,000.
