Thai Village Pty Ltd is looking for a full time Restaurant Manager to join their team in Sydney NSW 2000. This is a great opportunity where hard work will be awarded.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the management of the restaurant activities to ensure the daily operations and services are kept at optimum efficiency.
- Organising the seasonal promotion and planning special functions.
- Working closely with cooks/chefs to plan menus and special dishes of the month.
- Monitoring quality of services delivered, and food quality served at all times through conferring customer’s satisfaction with meals.
- Ensuring sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of food service and dining areas and complying with health and safety regulations.
- Dealing with and resolving customer complaints.
- Working closely with the Director to set up the sales forecast and reviewing and monitoring expenditures according to budget limitations.
- Organising the daily and weekly rosters for staff.
- Organising for recruiting, training & supervising staff to ensure complying with.
- Controlling stocks include purchasing order negotiating the price and keeping the purchasing/payment record.
- Ensuring effecting systems for cash handling and retail banking are in place, reviewing and updating business processes as necessary.
- Taking reservations.
- Follow our policies and procedures.
To ensure that you are successful in this role you will possess/demonstrate:
- Relevant qualifications,
- Minimum 2 years’ experience;
- Customer service oriented;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to lead and manage the team;
- Work on weekends.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $65,000 - $75,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
