Position Summary:
This position is hands-on coordinating and management of the daily operational activities to ensure effective and productive flow of service and liaising between back of house and front of house

- Hours as needed, including administration duties and service Wed-Sat
Essential Criteria:
- Proven ability to plan, develop and implement operational development strategies especially in Restaurant Hospitality.
- Capable to review and improve operating procedures
- Sound operational and business acumen
- Oversee bookings and POS system
- Managing and supervision of the FOH team
- Excellent Communication skills
- Budgeting experience, ability to produce reports for bi-monthly board meetings
- Invoicing experience
- Sales and customer service experience
- Delegation of tasks
- Tech Savvy
- current NT Drivers Licence
Job Responsibilities:
- Review all tasks and report to Board on progress
- Ordering stock and controlling inventory of consumables
- Maintaining reports on cashflow and accounting, having them on hand and ready for Directors to review
- Rostering all staff, approving timesheets, and ensuring staff feel empowered to perform their roles.
- Work alongside the team as needed to ensure service is smooth and running at maximum efficiency
- Selling and upselling as needed, Review and accept deliveries, monitor equipment, Team start-up meetings to communicate menu items and upselling aims for the day
- Supervise and manage all staff follow WHS & OHS policies and procedures and ensure you and other staff operate safely and efficiently at all times
- Conduct regular WHS/OHS briefing with the team
- Attend and participate in ongoing training to increase skill and competence
- Work with HR Manager to ensure we are on track for each employee's training and development
- Oversee direct reports to complete daily opening and closing checklists, amending these checklists as needed.

Experience:
- 2 years of experience with relevant educational qualifications
or
- 5 years of experience without the relevant educational qualifications
Eligibility to work:
- Authorised to work in Australia permanently without any restriction on hours.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Hospitality management

Salary: $80,000.00 per year
