Job description

Cor Cordis is looking for a Supervisor who wants to progress their career at one of the fastest growing independent business advisory firms in Australia.

Cor Cordis is one of Australia's largest and most trusted business advisory firms providing innovative Advisory, Restructuring & Turnaround, Forensics and Insolvency solutions nationally through its offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Parramatta, Perth and Brisbane.

As part of your role within our organisation, you will be exposed to a full range of business advisory engagements including Restructuring and Turnaround engagements, formal insolvency engagements such as Receiverships, Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations and Bankruptcies and Independent Business Reviews. 

Candidates joining our Sydney team will complete a wide variety of tasks under supervision of qualified and experienced practitioners, including:

  • assisting in the day-to-day management of companies in receivership, administration and liquidation
  • assisting with a variety of appointment types include large trading restructures, forensics, advisory appointments, and general insolvency matters
  • dealing with and reporting to creditors, banks and statutory authorities, and
  • completing investigations into the financial affairs of distressed companies.

What we’re looking for

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • minimum of 4 years insolvency experience
  • may be CA / CPA qualified
  • committed to ongoing development
  • demonstrated leadership ability
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • motivated, with a strong work ethic and flexibility to the challenges of working in a professional environment
  • proud of what they achieve, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and a common sense analytical approach to problem solving
  • ability to develop plans and reports.
