RF Field Engineers – WA

Salary:
Up to $680 per day, depending on experience

About the role:
Multiple positions available – open to all levels of engineers provided you have the relevant skills and experience.

Collaborate with multi-disciplined project teams to design and deliver complex mission critical voice and data system solutions in both the government and commercial spaces.
6 month rolling contract - indefinite ongoing work & job security
Tier 1 Mining customers
Opportunity to earn RDO’s if project work is done efficiently and ahead of time

Duties:
These are subject to what level engineer you are.
Lead or participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) while coordinating the technical aspects of the acceptance testing
Install, integrate, test and commission technology and solutions with supplier/vendor support
Identify, investigate and troubleshoot technical issues during project implementation
Manage on-site Acceptance Tests
Update of technical documentation and technical change management
Provide technical support during all project phases through to handover to Support organisation
Attend customer meetings, status updates, provide project reporting
Lead senior management project reviews - Project Management, Finance and Commercial (senior engineers only)
Skills / experience you’ll need to be successful in this role:
Digital Mobile Radio & Private Mobile Radio
P25 digital two-way radios – ASTRO overlay experience will be highly regarded
VHF & UHF
RF & Core Networking
Microwave link
Configuring routers, switches and servers
