Job description
You will be responsible for managing high quality risk and compliance procedures within the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.1. Identify, analyse and escalate noncompliance and risk and work with operational units to develop and implement corrective actions and risk treatments.2. Research, develop and deliver current fraud awareness training to all RBDM staff in consultation with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders responsible for Australia's national security.3. Work with Managers to develop comprehensive procedures, processes and reporting mechanisms for all compliance and fraud related information across RBDM.4. Prepare reports for the Registry management with recommendations for fraud mitigation or compliance enhancements.5. Build and sustain relationships, liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders including other government agencies and the private sector to create opportunities and improvements to service delivery and fraud prevention capabilities
