Exclusive role to Bluefin Resources - Up to $163k base + Super + Bonus.
Melbourne based - 2 days per week in the office.
A day in the Life of a Manager, Risk and Governance
You will join a newly established 1st line risk function reporting directly into the Head of risk, this ais a vital role responsible for the design and implementation of the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR).
You will ensure the ongoing operation of risk activities and renumeration, lead and develop the operationalisation of line 1 activities within people and culture, and develop new tools, process and frameworks of the line 1 risk team for P&C ensuring they are aligned to group risk frameworks and policies.
You will educate the P&C team on how to work together to drive risk initiatives.
Experience desired to succeed in the role:
Prior experience in a risk management or governance role with a risk focus within financial services.
Experience/exposure to Financial Accountability (or previous BEAR) obligations.
Understanding of all core risk management processes and frameworks, including risk profiling, controls management/testing, and obligations review.
Experience in setting up frameworks and processes for newly established line 1 risk teams.
Understanding of CPS511 remuneration governance requirements are highly beneficial, but not mandatory.
Experience preparing annual renumeration disclosure for ASX companies will be highly regarded.
Relevant tertiary or post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business discipline
Strong knowledge and implementation of Governance practices for regulated organisations.
Able to build trusted advisory relationships, orgnisation wide.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence through collaborations and challenge respectfully.
Ability to articulate and provide feedback in a constructive manner.
