Road Train - Side Tipper

Our client is an iconic Queensland Transport company that specialises in remote and regional Queensland work.  Working a 10/4 roster with accommodation provided you will be based in Normanton working on local and overnight routes. This is the perfect role if you are new to the transport world and want to learn the industry.  Our client is willing to train anyone with a appropriate licence and a will to learn. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Operating our fleet of Kenworth prime movers
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of truck and trailers through general housekeeping duties
• Responsible for the upkeep of driver and company documents after each day

 
Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• MC license with a proven competent and compliant driving history
• Well-presented with good communication and customer service skills
• Availability and flexibility to work to assigned rosters
• Ability to work independently in various environments
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and Road Transport Legislation
• Side tipper experience preferred
• Must be fit for work with a good level of fitness and general health
