We have a unique opportunity to join our newly created planning and prioritisation function called the Control Tower within the Product and Technology Division as the Roadmap Director. This role is key in leading and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to maintain the Technology Enterprise Roadmap, while also supporting the annual and quarterly planning process to align with the Banking and Financial Services Strategic Roadmap.
Reporting to the Head of the Control Tower, you will fulfill an important leadership and governance role across the Banking and Financial Services Group, driving capability and acting as the custodian of the strategic enterprise roadmap.
In this role you will be primarily responsible for:
Working closely with senior stakeholders to uplift Discovery practices across the Banking and Financial Services Group
Ensuring data driven decision making and a standardised approach to Backlog management and Discovery prioritisation.
Discovery pipeline oversight and will work with a central design team to integrate relevant client insights into Discovery practices and collaborate with the Director of Delivery to ensure capacity across Platform teams.
To be successful in this role you will have:
A strong planning and process mindset
Technology capabilities and an analytical background
An excellent understanding of, and proven experience in, working in financial services and/or consulting.
Experience as an agile practitioner - delivery experience would be ideal with architectural experience preferred.
You will be commercially focussed and proactive, with a high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to support stakeholders in meeting their strategic priorities. Along with an ability to prioritise activities and drive outcomes to effectively deliver for a diverse group of stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate with both your own team and stakeholders across the organisation.
You will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge. You’ll be excited by change, have the entrepreneurial drive to identify and realise opportunities and execute on initiatives.
