About the opportunity:
Seeking a Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Developer for a long-term contract opportunity within a federal government agency. You will join a project working towards delivering RPA solutions, which automate highly manual departmental processes.
Duties:
• Develop quality automation solutions, adhering to industry development best practice such as design sessions and code reviews.
• Set up, test and monitor automated workflows to ensure that business processes function at optimum efficiency without risk of error.
• Monitor and maintain automation post-implementation and resolve any potential issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Produce process documentation in order to outline mistakes and successes and refine the delivery of automation processes going forward.
• Deliver automation solutions both in a traditional methodology as well as agile delivery.
• Resolve defects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support testers during Agile sprints and testing cycles, explain requirements, answer questions (or escalate to business), triage bugs (as well as assist or lead root cause analysis)
You will have demonstrated the following experience:
• Designing and building workflow for automation solutions, adhering to industry development best practice such as participation in design sessions and code reviews.
• Data integration skills and in particular highly skilled in the use of data extraction and storage queries from and to relational databases such as SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills to lead or assist with debugging and testing phases.
• Development of automation solutions which may require integration with multiple systems.
• Developing automation solutions using the UiPath platform and the broader UiPath Business Automation Platform including document understanding.
• In Agile software development and Proof of Technology projects.
Desirable:
• UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification or equivalent; or the ability to quickly transfer RPA development skills to deliver automation solutions on UiPath.
• At least 2-3 years proven RPA development experience using UiPath platform.
