Established in 1946, St Louis Aged Care is a family owned aged care organisation providing a variety of quality at-home care services to help people continue to live the life they want in their own home.

About the Opportunity

You will work in a small team that is ultimately responsible for allocating shifts to carers to support our clients in the Community. Our clients require assistance in various duties from personal care through to shopping and domestic duties. The role also involves answering phones and general administration.

This is a Full-Time position, and you must be available to work Monday to Friday between 07:00 am and and 07:00 pm as well as 07:30 am to 01:00 pm on weekends.

What you absolutely must have to be a part of our team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to build rapport with coordinators, care staff, clients and their families
  • A natural ability to engage with older people
  • Excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail
  • Able to work shifts across a seven-day roster as above

To be successful in your application you will need:
  • Experience with rostering systems
  • To demonstrate you are a team player
  • A polite manner and a passion for service to older members of the community
  • Reliability and flexibility to work across a 7 day roster as necessary
  • A strong command of English
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • A proven ability to work autonomously
  • Commitment to further undertake in-house education and training
  • National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Covid Vaccinations (2) with Booster and Fluvax 2022
