Salary- Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Rural Support Service - Rural Generalist Program SA

- Base Salary $220,914 - $291,086 p.a. (pro rata) - Temp. Part Time (0.2FTE) up to 30 June 2023 - MD2
The Rural Generalist Emergency Medicine Advisor will provide mentorship and ongoing support to junior doctors and general practitioners who are interested in pursuing a Rural Generalist career and works with the Rural Generalist Lead and other Rural Generalist Advisors appointed within the RGPSA.
The successful applicant must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) with FARGP qualification or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and full unconditional medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia with a minimum of 5 years at a senior level of professional practice. Experience in managing budgets essential.
This is a part time vacancy, working 15 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. On-call and managerial allowances (if applicable) to be negotiated.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Public Health Act 2011 (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) to work in SA Health/health care setting.
