Joining the Country Health Connect Physiotherapy Team (Limestone Coast Local Health Network), you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of physiotherapy services appropriate to the needs of the Upper South-East community. To achieve this, you will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers in a range of different health settings. You will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment, therapy and evaluation approaches to provide clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities.
These physiotherapy services will be provided to non-complex acute inpatients, home and centre-based outpatients (adults and paediatrics), aged care and palliative care services. Positions available across multiple locations including Naracoorte, Kingston SE, Bordertown and Keith and Kingston. Our positions offer a variety of clinical experience suitable for experienced Physiotherapists looking to provide comprehensive and responsive care to the local communities, but also to early-career Physiotherapists wanting to experience the breadth of scope of the Physiotherapy profession.
You will feel connected to existing team members based in the Upper South-East and also supported by team members based in the Lower South-East. You will also have support by Allied Health Assistants and Administrative staff who work in the department.
The Physiotherapy Team at Country Health Connect (Limestone Coast Local Health Network) boasts a dynamic, energetic team focused on improving services for the people of the Limestone Coast. There are many sporting clubs, activities and social events suitable for young and mature professionals, as well as families within the Upper South-East region. Mount Gambier is the closest city (32,000 population) which has an airport which services multiple daily flights to Adelaide and Melbourne (45-minute flight time).
There are also many opportunities to network with other professionals in the region through professional development opportunities and the local Young Professionals Group.
You will need to hold a recognised qualification in physiotherapy and be eligible for registration and practicing membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association. With experience in providing physiotherapy services, you will be confident in supporting clients, carers and families across the Patient Journey and providing straightforward clinical services, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities. This will include the delivery of effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up.
You will bring the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, both verbally and in writing, and work well within a team environment.
