Job Description:
Principal Consultants support Education Directors and Portfolios of leaders to embed the various elements of the School Improvement Model in ways that directly influence the classroom practice of teachers and maximise learning outcomes for students.
Principal Consultants apply their school improvement skills, experiences and instructional leadership abilities to support school leaders in analysis of literacy and numeracy data to inform and implement strategic goals and targets, build teacher capacity and capability that positively impacts process and practice and improves learner achievements.
Qualifications:
Essential: A tertiary qualification in education and/or related fields
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
