The Role
As part of a small team that support external customers, you will be a strong troubleshooter with technical skills including Linux and ideally some exposure/experience with AWS.
Your communication skills will be pivotal, as will be your client-focused attitude.
With no out-of-hours support required, you will most likely be a junior who is eager to learn & grow. If you have aspirations to be an engineer of some sort in a couple of years, then this could be
the opportunity you are looking for!
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated technical support experience, ideally with some exposure/experience to AWS and some Linux skills
- Excellent communication skills with a customer focused attitude
- Strong troubleshooting & problem solving skills
- Linux skills, including some basic scripting
- Experience with ITIL - incident, problem, change & release management is beneficial
- Desirable experience with Atlassian tools & JIRA service management
- Experience with Postgres or Oracle databases is also advantageous
- Tertiary Degree in IT or relevant discipline
- Industry Certifications, where relevant, will be advantageous
