• Salary: $79,998 - $101,120 p.a - Ongoing Full Time - AHP2, ASO5 or RN/M2C

The Safety & Quality team for Yorke & Northern LHN is structured across 4 functional streams

• Accreditation & Oversight
• Consumer Safety & Incident management
• Consumer & Staff Quality culture & engagement
• Clinical practice & quality Improvement

The Safety & Quality Coordinator role will work with the stream leads to provide support to sites across YNLHN coordinating improvement projects, activities and processes as directed by the YNLHN Director of Safety & Quality.

This may include leading portfolio areas, preparation of reports, collation of data, maintaining registers and managing systems.

Provide support to nominated sites to support S&Q activities that result from identified gaps in practice via audits, critical incident reviews, SLS or other S&Q processes.

Accepts accountability for their own practice standards, activities delegated to others and the guidance and development of less experienced staff.

To be appointed at the AHP2 level, the applicant must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.

The successful applicant at the RN/M2C level will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
