  • Providing operational input and support to the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of clinical governance systems and practices to ensure CAHS meets its Safety and Quality improvement obligations.
  • Supporting and assisting with the maintaining and monitoring of performance monitoring, and the evaluation of programs and methods, provides input to the identification of process improvement.
  • Collating and analysing information for input into regular reports to meet health service and related reporting requirements.
  • Obtaining information and data from health service Safety, Quality and Performance officers in relation to governance, Safety and Quality improvement matters.
  • Supporting the CAHS internal audit program and assists with the development of data and system reports for risk, Safety and Quality activities.
  • Providing general information and assistance to management and staff in relation to the identification, review and management of Safety and Quality improvement activities.
  • Providing operational input and support to CAHS accreditation activities and examination of how they align with broader health service governance and accreditation requirements.
  • Supporting and assisting with CAHS projects related to clinical governance, Safety and Quality.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of contemporary practices and trends in relation to equal opportunity; disability access; and clinical and corporate governance.
