Permanent fulltime position based in Perth Airport

As the Safety, Quality and Compliance Adviser, you will be responsible for the delivery of an advisory service in the region that is focused on operational safety, workplace safety and quality. This includes working within a team, providing advice and support in delivering management systems objectives with a focus on the identification and mitigation of safety risks and hazards, the prevention of workplace injuries, the prevention of incidents and occurrences, regulatory compliance and the promotion of a safe culture within a dynamic team.

You’ll have –

Strong Safety, Quality and Compliance risk mitigation focus

Hold an Aviation or related qualifications in Safety, WHS, Flight Operations or Engineering

Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to build a network of effective relationships and influence at all levels including senior management

Previous experience working within a safety, quality and compliance role in a highly regulated industry such as aviation will be advantageous

A genuine passion and interest in aviation and all things safety and a willingness to learn and develop

A demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team

The skills to promote safety awareness and actively encourage reporting and feedback

The ability to write and produce audit and investigation reports and act on assigned actions

Ability to participate in projects and meet assigned deadlines

Customer orientated approach with an ability to question and challenge effectively, whilst maintaining strong relationships.

Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels

A high level of computer literacy and proficiency with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel suite.
