Due to the current Sales Administrator been promoted to a higher position in the company, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to carry out a wide range of responsibilities based at their Kewdale head office.
The Role
You will be focusing on providing Administration Support to the Internal Sales Team which processes and coordinates all client orders.
As a Sales Administrator you will conducting numerous responsibilities which include;
- Processing Orders: Inputting clients order data onto the system such as Purchase Order Numbers through to Products, Quantities & Delivery Details
- Creating / Updating Client Accounts: Creating or updating existing accounts on the system
- Checking Stock Availability: If the requested items are in stock and available for shipping or are unavailable
- Back Orders: For items that are not in stock, creating a “Back Orders” of the particular product & getting information on expected arrival dates
- Sales Quotes: Creating quotations that include costs of products, discounts & delivery charges.
- Liaising with Inhouse Team Members: Liaising with Sales Team Members through to Warehouse, Logistics & Accounts relating to client requests or info such as if orders have been dispatched through to when products on Back Order may be arriving
As a Sales Administrator you will be working in a fast paced work environment where you will conducting numerous responsibilities daily. Attention to Detail is key as you will be carrying out “Data Entry” onto several software applications where inaccurate data entry will create additional costs and time for the Internal Sales Team.
In addition, you will be supporting the Internal Sales Team in “Ad Hoc” admin duties across a wide variety of tasks.
Working Days & Hours
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
- Working Hours: 38 Per Week
- Start Times: Between 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
- Finnish Times: Between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Location: Kewdale
- Parking: Ample Free Parking on site
The Candidate
Candidates that have worked as a Sales Administrator or in a similar role, especially in Industrial Products are high on our list. Candidates that do not possess experience as a Sales Administrator but have transferable skills such as those that have worked in administration, customer service or sales are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate must have the following skills and attributes in order to carry out their responsibilities efficiently and effectively, which include;
- Confident in Computer Skills in operating Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional Communication Skills – Written & Verbal
- Highly Organized with the ability to quickly priorities work tasks regularly
- Possess Initiative & good Problem Solving skills
- Have proficiency and accuracy in data entry
- Have Attention to Detail and be able to follow strict systems and procedures
- Be highly efficient and be able to work under tight deadlines
- Be able to learn new software / programs quickly
Career Advancement & Increases in Salary
There are regular opportunities for career advancement and promotion through to increases in salary. Candidates that may start on the lower end of the salary scale as they do not have experience as a Sales Administrator and require training, maybe offered increases in salary once they have proved they can carry out the job functions efficiently and effectively and have displayed a strong work ethic.
Temp to Perm
You will initially be employed through Staff-Net on a Casual / Temporary Basis where after 2 months of work you will then be required to go onto Permanent Employment.
Casual Rates
- $28.00 to $30.00 Per Hour (Initially Casual Through Staff-Net for 2 Months)
- + Super
Permanent
As mentioned, once you have completed 2 months of work you will be offered Permanent Employment which will be between;
- $52,000 to $55,000 Per Annum
- + Super
- + Leave Entitlements
