The Sales and Marketing Manager (Australia) is responsible for sales, marketing, business development and liaison with actual and prospective clients / channel partners for Optimatics within Australia.
The Sales and Marketing manager will co-ordinate sales and be responsible for increasing and building Optimatics sales position, and revenue, within the region.
Reporting:
· Weekly sales meeting with CEO, CRO and Sales VP
· Close liaison with strategic support team in Australia
· Monthly reporting of sales prospects.
Accountabilities:
· Identify and build relationships with potential clients and channel partners.
· Prepare, monitor and update as necessary strategic account plans for channel partners and large engineering firms.
· Liaise with Suez SES sales and marketing team in Australia & New Zealand.
· Generate sales personally in accordance with company budgets and goals.
· Manage channel partners within the region.
· Ensure CRM is accurate and up to date
Responsibilities:
· Management of and participation in sales activities.
· Management of sales pipeline and qualified prospect list.
· Prospecting, generation of leads, go-no-go assessment, lead development, quotations, close, handover to and collaboration with Strategic Support team, project audits, etc.
· Assist with Marketing and brand development for the region.
· Attending relevant conferences to represent Optimatics.
· Market analysis and identification of business development opportunities.
· Early engagement presentations and pitching to new customers.
· Other duties as required.
Education and Skills:
· Bachelor degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or other relevant professional degree
· >3 years of post-degree experience
· Experience in software sales preferred
· Knowledge of, and experience within, the water and/or wastewater sectors
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Self-motivated, persistent and driven by success
· Ability to think laterally and strategically
Travel:
· This position will require extensive travel throughout the region
