Sales and Marketing Manager

About this role:

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing student recruitment plans and activities, including publicising events across a variety of digital and channels. This role will be based in our Sydney Campus. 

In this role you will:

• Generate new ELICOS and VET student enrolments, including the implementation of conversion initiatives.
• Develop and maintain specialist knowledge on education systems, qualifications (including pathways), admission requirements and cultures for regions of responsibility. 
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the key influencers for students and key contacts including Australian Government offices, agents, local institutions and alumni.
• Undertake regular Agent auditing processes as required in compliance MEGA’s process and regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice to senior management on all issues relating to the international student recruitment market and assist with the preparation of associated analysis of market data and/or student trends.
• Monitor the market for developments, risks and opportunities and build this information into the marketing and recruitment activities as appropriate.
• Represent MEGA Education at marketing and recruitment Fairs targeting international students, educational institutions and exhibitions or seminars.
• Develop and nurture positive working relationships, including sharing of information, with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist and support the development and management of a diverse network of external contacts including agents, sponsoring bodies, educational institutions and government bodies within the region.
• Assist in preparation, organisation and delivery of marketing materials.

What you'll need to succeed:

• At least two years or more experience in working for Registered Training Organisations that are CRICOS approved. 
• Related ELICOS and vocational market experience.
• Proven sales results in recruiting international students in both ELICOS and VET.
• Have full-working rights in Australia.
• A valid ‘Working with Children Check and Police Check’ (or willing to obtain).
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively, with a strong drive for customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Australian government regulatory requirements related to international education.
• IT Skills associated with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel.
• Knowledge of IT and related student administration/finance systems – Axcelerate.
