About The Role
We are seeking a talented, ambitious, and self-motivated Sales and Membership representative to drive revenue through membership Sales and advertising within Master Builders South Australia. This role involves recruiting high-quality new members to the Master Builders Association of South Australia. The Sales and Membership Manager is tasked with achieving sales targets through outbound calls and personal visits to prospective members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and execute sales strategies and plans.
- Identify and actively recruit new members across five membership categories: residential, commercial, civil, professional, and subcontractors/suppliers.
- Consistently achieve budgeted membership targets.
- Assist in retaining existing members.
- Expand Membership by developing new leads, contacts, and re-engaging expired members.
- Collaborate with the Membership Officer to process new memberships efficiently.
- Educate members about the range of benefits included in their MBA membership agreement.
- Develop, maintain, and update business documentation.
- Participate in promotional membership projects.
- Grow and leverage a network of business contacts.
- Address and relay any member issues to the Association.
- Represent MBA SA at various internal and external networking functions.
About You:
- Proven track record in Sales and achieving targets.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to build positive relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Energetic, resilient, and innovative mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is desirable.
