Flexshield Group is a leading industrial noise control solutions provider in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This is a full-time role that involves working closely with the sales and production teams to deliver accurate and timely project estimates.

The successful candidate will have a sound practical understanding of the construction industry, particularly how Tier 2/3 contractors work. You will have previous experience in estimating for construction projects, be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications, and have excellent attention to detail.

As an Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate and timely project estimates based on customer requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Liaising with the sales and production teams to ensure project estimates are aligned with customer needs and production capabilities.
• Conducting cost analysis, assessing materials, labour, and equipment required for each project estimate.
• Coordinating and managing multiple project estimates simultaneously.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.

Some key skills that will make you a strong candidate include:

• Previous experience in estimating for construction projects.
• A strong understanding of spreadsheets for costings.
• A sound practical understanding of the construction industry, particularly how contractors work.
• The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• A high level of tact and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,653.29 – $110,000.00 per year
