About Our Client

Our client is a market leading Japanese food and beverage distributor. They cover a wide range of high-end Japanese brands making them one of Australia's biggest suppliers. A rare opportunity for an energetic, motivated, and results driven Sales Manager to partner with a reputable FMCG brand with an emphasis on reducing their impact as a business on the environment. Our client has dominated the market and revolutionised the industry and is looking for the right candidate to join this dynamic and fast paced work environment.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and will identify, evaluate, acquire and maximise sales growth for the business. The successful candidate will manage all facets of the sales process with full P & L responsibility and manage all account dealings and liaison. This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to further their career in a high growth organisation with great career opportunities.

Job Description

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalise on them.
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product launches.
The Successful Applicant

To be successful for this role the desired candidate will have:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Must have good customer facing experience and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
  • Strong National Account management experience preferably in FMCG
  • Relationship building skills with key customers.
  • Strong influencing skills
  • An understanding of the Liquor industry will be a distinct advantage.
