What the role is

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring an optimal promotion, distribution and revenue generation of all products available at the specific Selina location.

This position reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager at location level and will be implementing Global and Country Level Sales & Marketing strategies and following corporate procedures. Knows very well the market and will be developing partnerships and brand promotions.

What you will be doing

Representing the brand positively
Content creation proposal according to the market need
Participating in event marketing
Generating brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing
Being an opinion leader in his/her community
Providing feedback and insight on new products/services
Promoting the brand via his personal social media accounts
Close deals
Drive customers to Selina locations
Follow up with customers
Research potential clients (individuals and professional)
Scheduling meetings with vendors, key stakeholders, journalists and influencers.
Schedule discovery call
Visiting and educating retailers, distributors, and vendors on the products particularities
Travel planning
Accounting
Develop marketing campaign and programs to reach prospective clients
Weekly meeting with Sales and Marketing team
Follow up calls/email with customers
Reporting and tracking customerís interactions, sales volume, and other effects that resulted from the applied strategy
Seek out and introduce new customers to Selinaís brand ñ provide complete information about the brand
Build marketing campaigns
Create a unique and on-brand customer experience to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty
Recommend events, experiences and influencers that align with Selina
Communication of success stories, key learningís and other activities to Marketing team.
Work closing with US PR agency
Interacts with customers and sales prospects
Be the onsite representative for any planned PR event within the local market.
Create/Post content to the brand social media sites and post content on personal social media
Assist in organizing marketing events
Use word-of-mouth marketing techniques
Attend trade shows to showcase Selina
Work with distributors to identify, secure and maintain new points of distribution for the brand in accounts. Utilize the provided brand tools and POS to support in market programming
Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers
Monitor online comments and respond or forward to the Marketing department
Work with marketing, sales and operations to ensure seamless execution
Assisting in developing and executing new marketing ideas
Sale Selina products ñ closing deals (ability to offer discounts)
Give ideas for new product design
Travel to all Selina locations to promote the products
Capturing authentic and relevant imagery for social media content
Enter all KPIís into an online reporting tool (account visits, program results and local market feedback)
Handle support requests to keep customers coming back

What do you need for the role

Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Administration
Local hospitality Market knowledge
Hotel revenue management knowledge
OTAs management
Tour Operations
Forecasting and budgeting
English proficiency and local language
Minimum 1 - 2 years in Marketing or Sales
Marketing management
Public Relations management
Previous experience in sales in hospitality is a plus
Time Management, Creativity and Cultural Sensitivity Skills
Revenue and Profit Oriented
Previous experience with community engagement
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Able to work independently and creatively to close new
sales opportunities
Able to work and collaborate in a matrix environment
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
