Sales Representative / Consultant

Conveyor Belt Man Pty Ltd is Queensland based company specialising in the supply and sale of all type of industrial conveyor belts.

Due to increased growth, we are seeking a full-time experienced Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to help maintain our excellent customer relationships and help grow new business within Australia.
Responsibilities of the Roles

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new customers through converting warm leads, internal inquiries, and more. You will guide customers through their journey allowing them to get the best use out of the product/service offering.

Main duties include the following:

• Developing new business from warm leads and inquires
• Maintaining and grow the portfolio
• Selling a variety of products to industrial clients throughout Australia
• Ensuring you maintain a strong relationship with all clients
• Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using directories and other sources
• Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
• Assessing customers' needs and recommending and explaining goods and services to them
• Monitoring customers' changing needs and competitor activity, and reporting these developments to sales management
• Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
• Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services
• Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services
• Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising
• Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred

Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates that have worked as a Sales Representative or in a similar role especially in Industrial Products are high on our list. The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years' full-time experience in the role (or the equivalent part time experience) and a post-secondary qualification.
