Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our teams in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the logistics and freight forwarding sector. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CargoWise software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer feedback, and potential areas for service improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Cargowise software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience using CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
