This is a permanent full time role based out of Sunshine, VIC driving all sales and commercial activities in the wider region. You’ll be responsible for sales growth by developing strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The role will be a combination of outbound sales, finding and developing opportunities for Air Liquide to provide its products and services and account management - ensuring strong partnerships with our existing customers. A fundamental part of the position of Sales Representative is to build strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
To be successful as a sales representative you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth. Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.
This role requires the occasional overnight travel to support the wide region where needed so you’ll need to be open to some travel.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Develop relationships with prospects and customers to grow
Coordinate customer training when necessary
Investigate and resolve customer issues on all levels, provide technical and practical assistance where necessary
Travel in the assigned territory, visiting prospective and existing customers
Maintain customer portfolios
Develop relationships at both a business and a technical level within customer and industry organisation
Ensure all customers have a current standard contract
Manage contract compliance
Participate in other work and projects as required from time to time
Gather market information to support in decision making
Comply to the health and safety regulations and initiatives

Previous experience in sales
Proven ability to close sales
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to operate within a multi-line reporting framework
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
Up to 3 years experience in a similar capacity
Computer literacy and ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Experience in Google Suites (Advantageous)
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
Can do attitude with initiative to drive change and take ownership of change
