We have a contract role available until the end of 2023 for a GP Sales Representative in our high performing Victoria respiratory sales team. As a Sales Representative at GSK you will have ownership and accountability for managing key customers within your territory; providing a consistent, science led and value-added service for primary health care professionals/GPs that supports best treatment outcomes for patients with asthma and COPD.
Your territory will be Melbourne Inner East with regional travel to Benalla.
We have moved to an omni-channel and more personalised and productive approach when engaging with our customers using a variety of different tools and channels including virtual sales calls/live video detailing. We are looking for team members who are committed to delivering a superior, impactful customer experience using a variety of different channels, tools and technologies.
Your role will be varied and will include:
- Developing an onmi-channel and tailored approach to engaging with HCPs/GPs using different tools and technologies including face to face and virtual engagement/sales detailing and presentations.
- Providing a consistent, science led and value- added service for our customers to support best treatment outcomes for patients.
- Using data insights and analysing sales performance to develop and deliver a comprehensive territory plan to drive value and deliver growth.
- Supporting the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market.
- Playing an active role within the team to optimise performance and enhance the connection we have with our customers.
- Working in partnership with GSK commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives.
- Experience in a field-based Sales Representative role (pharmaceutical industry experience (preferred)
- Comfort with virtual engagement/online sales detailing and presenting to customers using a variety of different tools and technologies.
- Proven experience and capability with CRM systems, data entry, reporting and documentation.
- An aptitude for science together with strong learning agility and the ability to absorb and credibly convey complex scientific information to customers.
- Tertiary qualification in business, science, pharmacology or a related field.
- Strong technology proficiency as well as being prepared and open to trial new tools and channels to engage effectively with our customers.
- Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders.
- A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding sales, influencing and relationship-building skills.
