We are searching for a Sales Support Consultant! Active Medical are an established national market leader, pioneering in medical device and equipment manufacturing, supplying hospitals, aged care, and home care communities. THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate, driven individual, keen on pursuing and developing a career in sales. This position is based internally from our Toowoomba Experience Center and is focused on proactively driving sales growth by actively working alongside our external sales representatives to execute strategic initiatives aimed at exceeding targets.
The essential activities and function of this role, includes:
- Business Development – manage client relationships, constantly interacting with prospects in line with touch point cycles, implementing strategy through proactive identification of leads/opportunities.
- Account Management – facilitate appointment booking for sales reps operating in the field and associated tasks to close the sale, such as trial booking, follow-up and assisting clients with information requests. Cascade general tasks (quotes, order entry, general enquiry) to the customer support team.
- Customer Experience and Showroom – welcome and service customers, provide product demonstrations/solutions & advice to customers, facilitating smart customer connections to create & maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Use internal systems (MS Teams & NetSuite) to record customer interactions and complete general duties.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant must have:
- Demonstrated experience in sales/relations (4 years is ideal) - incl communication and F2F skills
- Attributes: Attention to detail. Professional personal presentation. Positive, empathetic and caring nature, respectful & compassionate.
- Capability to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet/exceed KPI's.
- Ability to retain complex product knowledge and translate this into practical applications
- Willingness to travel occasionally to attend company events (expos, trade shows etc).
- Excellent IT skills
