Sales/Technical Representitive – Automotive Collision Repair Equipment

This Sales/Technical representative role is a hands on, all rounder role, where you’ll be meeting new and existing clients. Duties will include demonstrating equipment, delivering and installation, as well as servicing and repairs.

The successful applicant will liaise with potential clients in the COLLISION REPAIR industry on a regular face to face basis.  You will be representing market leading brands such as; Celette Alignment systems, Celette measuring and welding systems.  Pro Spot welding equipment and Camauto COLLISION REPAIR glue systems amongst other brands at your disposal. The successful applicant will have an outgoing personality as you’ll be required to demonstrate products in a client’s COLLISION REPAIR facility or in our training centre located in Dandenong South.  From time to time, we will showcase our range at trade events, which means you’ll get to engage with industry people one on one. 

The primary focus is to grow our Victorian market by planning a regular call cycle targeting all potential end users, from small repair facilities to multi-site operators. This role requires extensive travel within the whole of Metropolitan Melbourne with regular travel to regional Victoria and some interstate and overseas travel. You wont be stuck behind a desk staring at a screen, you’ll be out and about creating and capitalising on leads as well as using your knowledge and skills to demonstrate and close sales.

The team you will be joining has many years of experience in the COLLISION REPAIR industry.  You’ll report to a direct and local manager as well as join three other sales and technical sales representatives.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• An automotive trade background
• A high degree of mechanical aptitude
• Well-spoken and presented
• A high degree of self-motivation
• Physically fit (heavy lifting is required)
• Basic Microsoft office skills
• A can do attitude
• Australian Drivers licence

Highly Regarded:

• Sales experience in a similar field
• Panel beating trade qualification or equivalent 
• Knowledge of alignment and welding techniques
• Forklift licence
