Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Food Safety Manager, you will be responsible for driving, developing and embedding the Sanitation and Pest Control programs, systems, procedures across Kinrise Biscuits.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and drive continuous improvement for the Site Cleaning and Sanitation programs in accordance with Kinrise corporate policies and procedures, external customer, and food safety certification requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve sanitation programs, procedures, and metrics.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Design Cleaning and Sanitation SOP’s and pre-op verification checks.
- Lead and participate on GMP walks to identify and resolve Cleaning, Sanitation, Foreign Body and Pest issues.
- Provide leadership and guidance using corporate Hygienic Design Standards for all capital, major maintenance, or infrastructure upgrades.
- Develop and execute cleaning and sanitation training programs for site employees and external stakeholders.
- Manage the site annual water and air testing requirements and action all nonconformances using the site CAPA procedure
- Manage handling and usage of all cleaning and sanitising chemicals including storage, dilution, and application.
- Develop and implement a sanitation verification and validation program including ATP and APC testing
- Implement corrective and preventative actions to minimise/eliminate all site pest activity
- Support NCR investigations, customer complaints, production quality records check, internal and external audits, traceability/mock recall, PEMP, sensory testing, glass and hard plastic audits.
About you:
- 5 years’ experience in quality position in an FMCG
- Bachelor’s degree in science, food science or related discipline (preferred)
- Knowledge of quality regulations and standards
- Good knowledge of business operations, including quality regulations and standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Strong results orientation: demonstrated experience in setting aspirational targets, inspiring people and hold self and others accountable for results
- Strong desire to work as part of a team; quickly finds common ground and solves problems; gains trust
- Lives and passionately advocates company values and purpose; encourages direct and robust debate
- Willing to be nimble and creative and think and act differently
