School Health Nurse | Northern Territory | Permanent Full Time

Curis Recruitment currently has a fantastic opportunity available for you if you are a School Health Nurse keen to work in the Northern Territory working for a fantastic Aboriginal Health Service.

The position:

• Permanent full time position OR 3-6 month fixed term contract may be considered also
• Salary of up to $115k per annum

You will be working for a Health Service who provides Primary Health Care services to Maningrida and surrounding homelands under a Community Control model.

As the School Health Nurse you will be responsible for the clinic based aspect of the child health team, work collaboratively with the wider child health team. opportunistic and targeted health care delivery from the clinic base with planned outreach.

Some of the responsibilities of your position are:

• Work within the Child Health program in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality prevention and treatment
• Ensure the program has an identified cohort of clients and manage client lists in conjunction with the Child Health team ensuring active and timely follow up of client

To be eligible for this position you must:

• Have AHPRA registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 5 years broad nursing experience post registration and 3 years working in a primary health related field in a remote context
