This is a Full Time position in our Loganholme store.
In this role you will:
- Work with the Proprietor to set targets and to ensure the departments overall sales, gross profit and targets are reached
- Manage the department in the Proprietor's absence
- Assist the Proprietor to manage and develop employees through training, coaching and performance management
- Assist the Proprietor to manage and implement promotions, events and advertising
- Gain full knowledge of all roles in the department and cover where required
- Ensure the operations and administration of the department is maintained – including credit claims, debtors, stock ordering, purchase orders, stock returns and more
- Work a rotating roster which will include weekends & public holidays as required by the Business.
The skills and experience you'll need to bring with you include:
- Retail Management experience (at least 2 years)
- Proven sales ability in a retail environment (essential)
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambitious and Confident
- Numeracy skills and ability to work out calculations such as gross profit
- Ability to read and understand sales reports
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Mature outlook to be able to understand the needs and drivers of the Business.
