The town is often referred to as the “Beef Capital of the Burnett” and is situated amongst rolling hills of beautiful grazing country. The area is also home to other agricultural ventures including timber, citrus and vegetable crops. Popular tourist attractions include the RM Williams Bush Learning Centre or the Archer Homestead which has been maintained for over 100 years. If you are a fan of water sports, fishing or camping you will love the Wuruma Dam and Tolderodden Environmental Park which are both just a short drive away.
