The Contract: Ongoing, Part Time 32.0 hours per fortnight
The Position:
In this diverse role your key responsibilities will include:
- Regular patrols of building and perimeters'
- Assisting staff with patient transfers as required in compliance with the BRHS Manual Handling Policy
- Responding to Code Gray, Code Black and other emergency calls and assist as per policy and protocols
The BRHS Security department consists of qualified Security Officers who provide a security service 7 days a week, to support the safety of staff, patients, volunteers and visitors and the protection of BRHS assets and facilities. The Security Officers report to the Environmental Services Team Leader.
Key requirements:
- Current Victorian security licence
- Proven knowledge of and experience with, security operations and procedures
- Ability to work and act unsupervised with a high degree of initiative
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and have a good understanding of the benefits of a team approach
- Good organisational skills with the ability to successfully prioritise duties
