Lyndhurst ( Gatehouse/Patrols Security Guard )

Multiple positions. 12 hour shifts. MUST be prepared to work BOTH day and night shifts. Duties include gatehouse work and foot patrols of large distribution centre. On site training provided as well as skill progression.

Melbourne CBD (Retail Security Guard)

Multiple positions. Various locations in retail facilities within Melbourne CBD. Variety of shifts available (day/afternoon, 5 hour to 12 hour).

Mornington Peninsula (Hospital Security Guard. Frankston, Mornington, Rosbud and satellite sites)

Multiple positions available within hospital and other satellite medical facilities. Mandatory requirements with regards to vaccinations and N95 mask fittings, Working with children check required. Shifts are 8-12 hours in duration, with the roster running 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.

Part-Time (30-38 hours per week + OT)

Hours may be tailored to suit the circumstances of quality candidates.

Shift penalty rates and weekend work available. Opportunity for voluntary overtime. Pay in accordance with the Security Services award (Level 1 to Level 5 depending on position), superannuation and leave entitlements.

Responsibilities for the position are:

Provide excellent customer service

Patrol premises

Directional assistance for patients and visitors

Ensure policies and procedures are followed

Maintain a strong security presence whilst minimising risk to patients and hospital employees

Comply with basic orderly duties as required

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised

Good communication and negotiation skills

Ability to write reports clearly

Good presentation and personal hygiene

Good customer service skills and a friendly approach

Essential:

Must hold a current Victorian Security Licence

Must be flexible and be available to work day or night, weekends and public holidays

Own transport (preferred) and willingness to work at various locations

Must be reliable with good worth ethics

Must be COVID-19 vaccinated (triple vaccination for health care work)

Must have or willing to maintain yearly Influenza Vaccination (for health care work)

Must pass a mask fit test (for health care work)
