Senior Account Manager, Energy & Infrastructure

We have an exciting opportunity in our Energy and Infrastructure Division for an Senior Account Manager to develop and promote Protective and Marine products with existing & new customers to ensure the achievement of Budget sales and gross profit targets.
As the Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for:
End to end sales management for existing and targeted new customer accounts to ensure strong customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships and achieve sales growth.
Areas of focus, Energy segment (Oil & Gas / Renewables), Infra (High Rise Buildings / Civil /Stadia), Performance OEM (Mining & Ports) and Premium Light Industrial (Distributors).
Increase sales of protective coatings (Energy and Infra segments) within Victoria, Australia.
Develop and expand contacts amongst Owners, Specifiers and Engineering Consultants to have Hempel approved and specified on major projects and corporate paint specifications.
Grow new and existing customers to full potential and increase Hempel’s market share.
Prompt sales planning, pipeline management and forecasting to achieve sales efficiency and excellence.
In order to be considered for this role you will have:
The ability to work in a fast and ever-changing team environment
A passion for customer service and sales
A minimum of 3 year’s Sales management experience (Paint and Coatings desirable)
A track record in generating revenue and business development desirable
Strong financial understanding of gross profit margins
The ability to work within a dynamic and physical retail environment
An eye for detail with the ability to solve problems and lead change
Clear verbal and written skills
Competent in IT Systems, MS-office - excel, word, power point etc.
